Back in late 2025, some classmates and I began the recording of my latest release “Dreaming Of”. I had written the song and was ready to record it, and along with these classmates we began producing and laying down the tracks at The Grove Studios.
As the main artist, it was difficult for me to be the producer as I was mostly in the booth recording whatever instrument I wanted on the track. However, with my teams help, we were able to collaborate and get a solid production of the single and I went on to mix the final master which saw the song released in May of 2026, and can now be streamed on all platforms.
We had a lot of fun using some classic analogue gear as well as experimenting with mic techniques on piano and drums. And while the finished product isn’t precisely perfect, the fun we had making it is ironed into the song which makes it perfect.
